Food Safe Silicone Mold Putty

Silicone mold is a flexible mold that allows you to pop your work out from the mold easily! No releasing agent is needed!

***This mold putty is the one we use to make all our well-known and high quality silicone molds, now you can make your own ones easily with the same material as we do!***

♥HOW TO USE♥
1. Check the size of the object you wanted to mold and decide how big/small you want the mold to be (it helps to avoid the waste of the silicone putty)
2. Get equal amounts of the blue and the white part of the mold putty and mix them well together with your hands until you see uniform color, roll it into a ball (the surface of the silicone putty has to be smooth without crack), and then flatten it (be aware the mold putty has to be at least 2-5mm thicker then the object you are going to mold)
3. Press the object you wanted to mold into the mold putty and wait until it cured (the working time of this mold putty is around 5-10 minutes and the cured time is around half to 1 hour, note that the warmer the room temperature, the shorter the working time and curing time)
4. Once the mold is cured, you can remove the object from the mold and start your creation! :)

♥ TEMPERATURE ♥
The molds made with this mold putty can withstand temperatures as high as 450° F / 230° C They are also unaffected and remain pliable when placed in the freezer.

♥ FOOD GRADE ♥
This mold putty is made with silicone materials that comply with the regulations set forth by the Food and Drug Administration in FDA 21 CFR 177.2600. In addition, these materials have been subjected to extraction testing performed by an FDA approved and independent laboratory that specifically certifies their suitability for use with water based foods and also foods that contain fat.

NOTICE: If you make a mold for non-food purposes, DO NOT use the same mold with food.

♥ TIPS FOR USE ON CLAY ♥
Since different clays have different features, there are clays which are sticky than the others and so affect the pop out effect, in the case, we would recommend:
- For polymer clay, bake your clay right in the mold without concerns of clay distortion from de-molding.
- Put the clay into the fridge for around 5-10 minutes.

♥CLEAN THE MOLD♥
You can wash your silicone molds with hot, soapy water. They can also be put in the dishwasher or even boiled. But do not wash mold with abrasive pads or cleaning agents like Ajax cleanser.
